Known locally in San Francisco as the Slovenian Hall, the Slovenian Progressive Home (or Slovenski Napredni Dom in Slovene) was established in San Francisco in 1927.  The Slovenian Hall features a 945-square-foot main dance floor with bench seating and a 902-square-foot bar room with a vintage bar.  Conveniently located just off Highway 101 (northbound: Vermont St exit).

Directions from the Verdi club

The Slovenian Hall is located very close to our regular venue, the Verdi Club, on the same street, Mariposa St, but on the other (east) side of Potrero Ave and Highway 101 (Bayshore Freeway).  Just an 8-minute walk or 3-minute drive away.  See maps and directions below.

From the Verdi Club, head east on Mariposa St toward Potrero Ave (167 ft)
Turn left onto Potrero Ave (463 ft)
Turn right onto 17th St (0.2 mi)
Turn right onto Vermont St (0.1 mi)
The Slovenian Hall will be on the right.

There is limited street parking near and around the Slovenian Hall.  As always, to discourage break-ins, please do not leave valuables or any other items (visible or not) in your unattended vehicles.
