Sound Engineers

Sound Engineering Staff

As a live music event, the Woodchopper’s Ball aims to not only bring you the swingin’est bands around, but to present the bands’ music in the best way possible.  That’s why we only hire professional sound engineers to make sure you can fully experience all of the richness, subtlety, emotion, and energy of every instrument and musician in the band–and always in a tastefully balanced manner.  We hope that’s music to your ears!

Glen Earl Brown Jr.

With over 30 years of experience bringing the best sound to musical events and venues throughout California, Glen currently works both as the owner/operator of King of the Vintage Sound and through A-Town Agency.  He has also been a singer-songwriter and bass player for numerous Bay Area swing, blues, folk, rock, and country bands.  Glen brings this wealth of knowledge and experience to his duties as the regular sound engineer at the Woodchopper’s Ball since its inception in July 2017.
