March 21 & 28, 2023 – Even More Tap for Swing Dancers
World-class Lindy Hop & Balboa dancer and instructor Todd Yannacone will be back in town from New Orleans and will teach two more tap classes for swing dancers at the Woodchopper’s Ball, on March 21 and 28! Space is limited, so arrive early to reserve your spot!
Even More Tap For Swing Dancers
Date: Tuesday, March 21 & 28, 2023 (two separate classes)
Time: 9:00-10:00pm (upstairs)
Instructors: Todd Yannacone
Description: Todd will guide you through some tap basics to give you even more fancy footwork with swing rhythms! Different material in each of these March classes, and different material than last year’s November and December classes. No tap shoes please, though it will be helpful to bring shoes that make a little noise!
Prerequisites: All levels, although some swing dance experience is helpful.
Cost: $25/person/week drop-in, cash only (pay at the door, no advance registration), $10/person as an additional class. (All prices include admission to the Dance Party.)
Todd Yannacone
World champion, Hall of Fame inductee, and international instructor Todd Yannacone has taught Lindy Hop, Balboa, Shag, Charleston, Vernacular Jazz, and other jazz era dances both nationally and abroad since he was 16. His love and appreciation for various forms of swing dancing allows him to bring innovative versatility to the dance floor while simultaneously respecting the roots of each dance. He specializes in connection and musicality, which is apparent every time he steps on the dance floor.
